AI Workflows

Clinical AI built into the platform — not sold separately.

Four workflows that reduce documentation time, improve patient communication and support safer handoffs. All work from the same patient record. None require a separate login, subscription, or tab.

Consultation

SOAP Assist

From transcript to structured note in seconds.

A doctor speaks or types their findings freely. SOAP Assist reads the transcript and drafts a complete Subjective-Objective-Assessment-Plan note in the standard clinical format. The doctor reviews and confirms — nothing is saved without their sign-off.

How it works

  • Works with free-text dictation or structured input
  • Produces complete S-O-A-P sections, not a summary
  • Doctor edits and confirms before the note is saved
  • Available inside the consultation screen — no tab-switching
Discharge

AI Discharge Instructions

In the patient's own language, at a reading level they understand.

At discharge, the system generates patient-facing instructions for care at home, medications, and follow-up — in any of nine regional Indian languages. Reading level is adjustable. A print-ready multilingual PDF is available with one click.

How it works

  • 9 supported languages: English, Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Bengali, Malayalam
  • Adjustable reading level: medical, standard, simple
  • PDF download direct from the discharge screen
  • Generated from the patient's active admission record
Handoff

SBAR Shift Handoff

A structured handoff brief, not a verbal summary.

When a shift ends, one click generates an SBAR (Situation-Background-Assessment-Recommendation) brief for every active case in the queue. The incoming team gets a structured, readable brief — not a set of verbal notes passed across a counter.

How it works

  • Covers all active appointments in the queue
  • SBAR format: exactly what handoff protocols require
  • Generated from current patient status and clinical notes
  • Available in the OPD queue panel
Triage

Triage Urgency Flags

Visible at a glance, calculated from the record.

The OPD queue shows a colour-coded urgency badge for each patient, calculated from their chief complaint and any recorded vitals. High, medium, and low urgency are flagged visually so the triage decision doesn't depend on anyone remembering to ask.

How it works

  • Calculated from chief complaint and recorded vitals
  • Three levels: high, medium, routine
  • Always visible on active appointments in the queue
  • No extra step — flags appear automatically
On-premise deployments

AI that works without calling home.

For hospitals running HospaSense on their own infrastructure, all four AI workflows can run on a local Ollama model — no patient data leaves the building. The same features, fully offline.
